BATS Quick Deploy Case Study
Background: Our client’s field personnel sought to establish a wireless network communications system with ad-hoc field environments. The client wanted an automated solution where a command center at base station could employ an antenna aiming system that could access all locations simultaneously, locate one another, and quickly establish wireless links.
Customer Challenge: Using high gain, narrow beam, directional antennas, BATS needed to establish fast wireless network connections from the base station (central location) to access points that did not have specified locations. We also needed to meet these requirements without additional personnel or manual processes to manage the directional antennas.
BATS Solution: Within minutes of deploying the BATS BTS-3300, the client’s system located all friendly access points, established links, and optimized network performance for highest bandwidth available on customer’s equipment.
